From the first model V-2-30 to over 2,400 machines of various sizes and configurations in operation worldwide today. This ingenuity, commitment to quality, and to the customer has been passed down through the generations to the founders two sons Frank Jr., and Bertram, and to his grandson Rusty. All three are degreed mechanical engineers delivering the third generation of active Elsner management in this privately held corporation.

The direct daily involvement of Rusty Elsner and Bert Elsner, II insures that the promise to deliver a quality machine with service and support second to none is kept each and every day. They are fully capable of delivering what they promise. Today there are over 2,400 Elsner machines, rewinders, overwrappers, unwind stands, and folding machines operating in nearly 60 countries around the world. These machines are winding, packaging and folding every imaginable product from gift wrap, wallpaper, plastics, foils, fabric softener, to surgical drapes, fancy napkins, baby wipes and surgical gauzes and swabs.

It is this strong engineering background, state-of-the-art design technology and dedication that brings customers like Hallmark Cards, American Greetings, Rubbermaid, Reynolds Flexible Packaging, and Johnson & Johnson, to mention a few, to Elsner's doorstep.

The Elsner staff of licensed mechanical and electrical engineers carefully design all machines to meet national safety codes and match the exact customer specifications. The factory staff of trained assemblers and technicians run each machine with customer materials to rated specifications before delivery. Electrical controls incorporating PLC and motion control software are designed and provided by in-house staff. Elsner provides machinery which is CE compliant for use within the European union.
